Rui Costa hopes to play his part
Portugal playmaker Rui Costa has announced that he feels he will be ready to play for his country, if he manages to make the starting line-up.
Portugal manager Antonio Oliveira may leave Rui Costa on the substitutes bench, and if Costa is not fully fit for this Saturday's friendly against China, Oliveira may not feel ready to take the risk and pick him for Portugal's opener against the United States.
The 30 year-old midfielder knows that this is his last chance at World Cup glory:
'We are all here to play but it is too soon to say who will play against the USA.'
'What I need is to have minutes because I haven't been playing lately.'
