Baggio left out of Italy squad
As claimed by the Italian media, Roberto Baggio will not be going to the 2002 World Cup, after being left out of Giovanni Trapattoni's final squad.
Trapattoni decided that Baggio's susceptability to injury was too big a risk to take. Apart from Baggio, there are no surprises in the squad which is the same group of players that took Italy through qualification.
