Danish squad announced

Morten Olsen has revealed his World Cup squad, after delaying the original announcement due to injuries. The Denmark squad reflects Olsen's brand of attacking, fluid football which could stand them in good stead.

Younger players, such as Ebbe Sand and Jesper Groenkjaer will compliment veteran captain Jan Heintze, who at 38 will be one of the World Cup's oldest players.

The Denmark squad in full:

Thomas Sorensen (Sunderland/Eng), Peter Kjar (Aberdeen/Sco), Jesper Christiansen (Vejle), Jan Heintze (PSV Eidhoven/Ned), Rene Henriksen (Panathinaikos/Gre), Niclas Jensen (Manchester City/Eng), Thomas Helveg (AC Milan/Ita), Martin Laursen (AC Milan/Ita), Kaspar Bogelund (PSV Eindhoven/Ned), Steven Lustu (Lyn/Nor), Christian Poulsen (FC Copenhagen), Thomas Gravesen (Everton/Eng), Claus Jensen (Charlton/Eng), Brian Steen Nielsen (Malmo/Swe), Stig Tofting (Bolton/Eng), Jan Michaelsen (Panathinaikos/Gre), Jon Dahl Tomasson (Feyenoord/Ned), Jesper Gronkjaer (Chelsea/Eng), Dennis Rommedahl (PSV Eindhoven/Ned), Ebbe Sand (Schalke 04/Ger), Martin Jorgensen (Udinese/Ita), Peter Lovenkrands (Rangers/Sco), Peter Madsen (Brondby)
